KUDU DESIGNS is a Florida based corporation that is dedicated to supporting African families to be self sustainable through their craft.  Our concept and vision is to market and promote only African innovative products with a preference to handmade items, thus helping to defeat poverty in Africa. Some of the proceeds from the sale of these products will also provide medical assistance, employment and housing for landmine victims in Africa.

We currently are rolling out our flagship product-The KUDU KLIP.  These genuine hand crafted hair clips are produced in South Africa by mostly single African Mothers and provides an income so they may care for their children. They have hopes and dreams like any Mother for the future of their children.

The combs that connect the bead work are made from galvanized wire by men known as "wire artists".  The money they make from producing the KUDU KLIP is sent back to provide food for their families and to educate their children. Most of these men fled their homes in Zimbabwe to South Africa to survive. Zimbabwe has the world's highest inflation rate (if you bought a loaf of bread there for 50 cents last year, it now costs $1,125!)

Our dream is to help the poor and physically challenged people of Africa.  Not only do we want to provide a livelihood for them, but to create HOPE for a better tomorrow!

LUNA DESIGN has developed into a major brand name, producing and selling a wide range of products made with the basic philosophy of respect for the environment we live in, for the people we work with and for our valuable customers.  A palette of beautiful and natural colors characterizes our collection season after season.  All our pieces are produced from raw seeds and natural fibers.  

All products are assembled by a network of single mothers in Barbados who are compensated with fair wages.  Thus far, 16 families are actively participating, and as the business continues to grow, more families with have the opportunity to be incorporated.
